Moustache Party, Charleston

So, we decided to try a mustache party out here to see how it would go over...and, it was a success! The poetry was awesome, the white elephants were true, and the egg-nog was delicious. We had a blast, and were so proud of our friends for being silly with us. One friend had never seen so many sober-crazy people, and felt like he was having an "outer-body" experience. That's what you get for hanging out with the MORMONS! There were some fabulous mustaches, and quite daring outfits. We're looking forward to the Mustache Reunion party in Utah, and hope you all can join us for more giggles. Let me know if you need directions to Joel's parents house.

the Prince and Princess Underpants

No we aren't kidding. Many mornings, this is how we are greeted. I don't know what the fascination is with underwear, but apparently, they can work as hats, gloves, vests, you name it.

I did it myself, because I LOVE LIPSTICK!

She's getting good at it too. Clara says, "I sneaked it because I love it!" She gets into my make-up bag and puts on her favorite gloss every day, and sometimes, right before bed. Wow...

REALLY BAD MEXICAN FOOD

I think these little guy's faces say it all. I'm having the hardest time finding good mexican food in Charleston. It is a real struggle. Where is Teresa when you need her? Man alive, what I would give for some decent carne asada, taquitos, and mmm, molitas??? Utah trip: Cafe Rio. California trip: La Taquiza. HERE WE COME!

Thanksgiving Day Party at the Henriods

What a fun Thanksgiving. We had 13 adults and 6 children over for dinner. You could say we were a bunch of "stray cats" with no families around, so, we joined forces and created a grand feast!

"Rock Band" was played for nearly 5 hours after dinner. Um, atleast it wasn't football.

Even the kids loved it!

How pathetic are we? We didn't take one picture of the entire day, so thanks to a good friend Becky, we got this shot of one of the set tables. I was so excited to use all of my china and silver...never done that before!

After cooking all day, it's really hard to eat, don't you think? But, still, the food was great and we had an awesome time with friends. Although, I really missed family...maybe next year!
